India Post has released the notification for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Recruitment 2026 – Schedule II. Eligible candidates can apply for BPM, ABPM and Dak Sevak posts in various Postal Circles across India.
The selection will be based on Class 10th marks, so there will be no written exam or interview.

Eligibility
Candidates must have passed Class 10th from a recognised board. Mathematics and English should be among the subjects studied in Class 10. Candidates must also meet the required local-language criteria for the selected Postal Circle.
Selection Process
There is no written examination for GDS recruitment. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their Class 10th marks. Shortlisted candidates will then have to complete document verification and other required formalities.
Salary
- BPM: ₹12,000 – ₹29,380
- ABPM/Dak Sevak: ₹10,000 – ₹24,470
